- 2816 Returns to Canada, and runs through Saskatchewan. This is the first time 2816 has graced the Indian Head Subdivision since 2011! Chasing from Broadview to Pilot Butte made for many catches. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing! Beautiful shots of a beautiful train. How did you know it'd be coming through there?
I have been following updates since it was first teased this train would come back out of retirement. The Final Spike Steam Tour was the main way for me to find out. Other than that, day of, I had my radio scanner, and listened to communications on the trains where abouts.
This is one of those times when a train shows up and personmadude posts it
Worked on that sub for most of my career, brought back a lot of memories. The stone house at 04:25 has an interesting story of being haunted. Don’t know if it’s true or not.
@@richardstevens801 there is a story of it, of what is known as the scream house. Back in the day a deaf child was playing on the tracks when a train was coming, and the mother screamed at them to get off, and because the child was deaf, they were hit and killed. Stricken with grief, the mother has the husband fill in the windows, which you can still see the old frames today.

What time should 2816 arrive in calgary?
@@adambennett1074 original estimates say around three. This can change, 2816 was supposed to arrive in Regina around 2:30, and ended up arriving around 4:30. Some say even 1-2 for Calgary, as it was schedules to depart Dunmore at 8am.
