    What a lovely home you have. Im also a sucker for a private pool and open living. Iv just arrived in Bali after spending 2 months in NZ and yes I can agree with you about how expensive NZ is especially for the lifestyle and quality of life there. You must be loving Bali life and thinking about what a great life decision you made in moving out of the rat race. Love your videos! And your dress is gorgeous! 😊

      ahhhhh how exciting you are now in Bali, I bet you are so happy to be here. Yes NZ is sooooo expensive, the more I travel the more I realize this. We just recently went to Singapore and everyone had told us how expensive it was but it was really just like eating out in NZ! Thanks for watching and omg it means so much that you love the dress as its one of mine x

    That looks beautiful! We are looking to move to Bali next March for up to one year. My partner does FIFO, so why not stay in Bali instead of Melbourne. Can I ask what Visas you are staying with?

    • @jackieeasthope
      @jackieeasthope  2 года назад

      Ohhhh how exciting. It will be life changing whether you love or dont love it. Visa are always a hard one in Bali but my kids are on KITAS as they are at school here and I am still on a B112 (I think thats what numbers it is 😉) not ideal but they dont have KITAs for parents yet. You know its not Bali but I do love Melbourne..I lived there for a bit and said that is one place I could always live again...amazing people too

    Hi Jackie, we are two kiwis looking to make the move to Bali. Did you bring your gorgeous poodles with you from NZ ? We have a poodle and wondered about that. Cheers Ullrich

    • @jackieeasthope
      @jackieeasthope  2 года назад

      Hey, wow so exciting, I remember being in that faze and I couldn't wait to get here and make the big move. Of course covid delayed us a bit too!!! noooooo we got our babies in Bali, there are quite a few breeders here for toy poodles and pugs. We left our beautiful black Lab in NZ with family as it's a bit challenging bringing dogs in, it can be done but a friend's dog is still recovering months later as it was quite traumatic. Of course though there are always good and bad stories. There are also sooooo many dogs here so lots of cuddly animals to love. I have super cute cats too

    • @Ullrich88
      @Ullrich88 2 года назад

      Thank you so much for your reply. We have a 14 year old toy and is our only child so looks like we may have to rethink when we will be able to go. Cheers Ullrich

      @@Ullrich88 ohhh yes especially if he is that old as i think it may be abit traumatic for him. My friends dog was old too. We always shipped our dog between Australia and NZ when we moved but once our dog got old we didnt as even that short trip our baby hated

    Where can we find long term rentals please? What are you recommendations? Thanks.

    • @jackieeasthope
      @jackieeasthope  2 года назад +1

      Hey, oh Bali has really opened so its alot harder to get rentals at the mo and the prices have really gone up. Bali properties or ubud rental and there are also a heap of groups on facebook depending where you want to live. Just search up canggu rentals or ubud rentals. Good luck

Its such a big life decision for people to do this but easy for me 😉 Also we left NZ in the middle of covid...people thought I was mad but it was the best decision ever. I was in the eco village, there are 2 eco villages made by the same people. One in Sibang and one in Penestanan Kaja, Ubud. I know there is still houses in my old village in Ubud x
