I had opportunities to meet Ustadji when used to come to kolkata. Since I was not known to him, I just told him that I am son of Amiya Sil. At once he welcomed me and told his Mrs that although Amiya was shajrid of UVK, he liked his style and ardent admirer. My father heard his practise at Park Circus residence in 1950's. He told me that taans of Rais-ji were scintillating as if falling from sky. Every time ustadji greeted me addressing Beta with lovely smile and singing personality. I really miss Ustadji.
