2 years ago I was talking about how the Midnight Wisps are one of the best teams of all time, lowest finish in ML 2020 was just 12th and they were always ready to take the lead. Oh how 2 years later that all changed
I forgot to comment this before, but, the fact that for me, wospy was the best wisp at some point, and hasnt been good in ages now is really heart breaking, even if I have a neutral opinion on the wisps
They have a manager named Willow, so it doesn’t have to be a derivative of the word Wisp. On another note, can they also fire that manager too? They already fired their technical director in ML22, so why not?
5:38-5:40, the wiki page for Season 3 previously stated Wospy pulled out of M1 because of their poor performances in Season 2 apart from their one gold, 7:44-7:49 you forget to mention Mellow Yellow received this type of treatment along with the Wisps. And the Wisps shouldn't have any scare of being relegated in the 2021 ML showdown as relegation was suspended.
The main problem of this team is Wospy, and I’m not meaning that in an offensive way but as I watched this video it showed Wospy just not being really good. I think the reason is they feel too much pressure coming in for events and end up letting that pressure come too them. Wyspy should let Wospy take a brake instead of keep racing. So good luck to this team in future years and wispy that was good sportsmanship for wospy to not retire
Too much pressure could be a factor in the 2020 marathon as it was a 33-lap race unlike the laps in Marbula One Season 1, Wospy ran out of energy for the later stages of the race largely because of it.
Yep and the 15 events in those 2 years, I did the math and in those 2 years Wospy only scored 73 points which is in last place in a regular marble league
Now that marble league 2023 is over the midnight wisps got eighth this year so I guess we can say they did ok but maybe they could get invited to season five of Marblua one it’s a possibility that they might so maybe that they can continue to improve and there one last thing I should say 2024 is going to be a winter edition so maybe they could have redemption in the 2024 marble league sense they won the first winter marble league and for the winter special that was not and official marble league so 2024 could be the redemption for the midnight wisps.
Short answer: a mix of life being busy and losing the passion for it. But it’s sparked for me again and there’s a whole bunch of topics now I want to explore. Can’t wait

The 2017 ML didn’t seem relevant, the video started at the 2018 finale so wouldn’t make sense to backtrack

Agreed. Wospy was mainly featured because they sort of had a downfall themselves. We can only hope that Wospy regains that confidence they once had
