I just bought mine last week. Got a floor model on clearance. Went to cook a brisket and the control panel went out. They overnighted a new one to me and I'm about to do a turkey breast. Great video. I love the grill.
Great video. Will need to get one of those scrapers. Just as an FYI, in your video, you have the larger left drip pan reversed. It should have the little directional fins towards the drip catch assembly mounted on the left side.
I love this grill so much, I bought another one, so I have two! You are absolutely right these grills are easy to clean and even fix! Had some hiccups in the beginning, had to replace the thermal coupler on the first one and the igniter rod and circuit board on the second grill, I chock it up to bad parts from the manufacturer, just a suggestion, you can do a repair video if you ever have a chance! Love your cooking ideas and meat seasonings, oh and the cooking grates are reversible, keep those videos coming!
This has been a topic of discussion in my Facebook woodcreek group, whether or not the grates are reversible? I say they are, one side for searing and the other for regular cooking.. please help close the debate...
Yup. Just smoked two slabs of bacon yesterday. There are some good owners forums on Facebook if you’re not sure and want to get some more user feedback.
I bought my Wood Creek on clearance for $249 @ Walmart a year ago. I've had it for over year and use it at least once a week. No issues. Works great for me.
How sturdy is the grill? I know you scrubbing the grill hard in this video and makes the grill shake like crazy, but I notice on other videos that you posted just closing the lid makes the all thing shift left and right.
@@chefsbonus7696 Thanks for reply, one more question if you dont mind is regarding the metal plates you cleaning I notice some of the metal are flaking off from rusting and intense heat, I'm assuming those aren't stailsteal grade metal? How long did you owned the grill. Again thank you reply I'm planning on purchases a new grill and trying to find as many user reviews and feedback as possible on a budget grill that would last more than a year of intense use and weather and dont need to worry on replacing the internal components from high heat which seem to be the first to go.
@@mariomoccia76 I have had the grill over a year. The bits I scrape off are actually food and charred grease. The thick, heavy steel plate has developed a natural rusty patina. You can scrub it with steel wool and bring back the shine. I don’t. Some folks wrap in aluminum foil. I like natural patina. Just a personal choice.
Great video! Are the grates ceramic coated cast iron or uncoated? Also does the left side of the grill get hot enough? I didn’t realize that the burn pot was so far to the right. Love that grill and the food you cook is over the top!!
Thanks chef. I bought my woodcreek back in the spring and have loved it. I really appreciate your videos.
Awesome. Let me know if you have any requests.

I just line the heat plates with non stick foil, keeps them pretty clean

@@EB-yc9xw I throughly agree 👍 one side for searing, other side for general cooking !
How has this held up over the past 3 years?
Is it safe to wipe the inside lid of grill with soap and water? My grill was very greasy. I did thorough cleaning for first time and im nervous.
Is your grill still working I was going to buy one due to the versatility but I saw a lot of bad reviews fails on every single part of the grill.

Cleaning this was a Bitch …….and I used it once. 😂
Better than a grease fire 🔥

It’s heavy duty for sure. I do not treat it gingerly. You can kick the tires at Walmart on a floor model and really get a feel for the quality.

The grates are cast iron not coated. The left side definitely gets hot enough. I seared burgers there. Not as hot as directly over the firepot.
Do you think that Cuisinart will provide an upgrade for the woodcreek control console to wifi?
I don’t know the answer to that question. Great question, though.. Maybe contact Cuisinart’s customer care team?
@@chefsbonus7696 i did, I don't think they are though. I'll probably try to figure out a way to boost the Bluetooth...🤷🏿♂️
Am i the only 1 that has a designated shop vac to clean out my smoker
How tall is the inside cooking area , i like to smoke ham or turkey will they fit inside ?
The lid height is close to 12-inches. You can definitely do hams and turkeys. Multiple. The top rack is easily removed if you need the space.
@@chefsbonus7696 ok thank you for the reply
