I’m from NC and when I was a kid in the 80’s Carolina wasn’t a team yet and I loved Washington since I was 5
I'm from NC too and been a fan since 1976 way before the kitty kats came to the State and that's all we got on Sunday's were Washington games and on the other channels were the AFC games mostly Pittsburgh and Oakland (Las Vegas)

No team picking second or third overall in the decade from 2012 through 2021 has hit on a starting QB. Statistically, You need to draft TWO top 6 QB's (whether in the same year or different years) to have a better then 50/50 chance at getting a decent one. Great point Rico about adding weight on JD slowly. Usually college players are fans of their hometown NFL teams, not to mention because of Jayden’s past relationship with A. Pierce it’s expected he would smile about his experience because of it’s familiarity.
Jayden is a really even dude. Just saw him on "Cold as Balls". Didn't look flustered at all. Same lighthearted, humble dude. Same guy we saw with Ocho and Shay. So comfortable and confident in his own skin. His demeanor actually reminds me of Adam Peter's TBH.
IDK why people talking about JD putting on weight in the offseason or once he's in the NFL. He went to LSU which literally may have the top Strength & Conditioning program in the nation...

I'm good with whomever we pick for QB at 2. My hope is we trade up and get our franchise LT. Franchise QB, franchise LT; we won the draft. Everything else is gravy. Love to get a RT, CB, WR, TE, DE, LB. Out of those, RT and CB, maybe WR are biggest priority in my mind; rest are nice to have.

i had wished washington would have gotten a veteran QB like flacco and have him be the starter for 1 year. Then draft a QB to be back up the first year. lots of reasons for that. 1) we wouldnt be depending on a rookie QB to be ready in his first year. Most drafted players wont be ready their first year. 2) this is a rebuild year so the pieces might not all be there this year. 2) flacco could teach the next guy up 4) if the rookie QB isnt ready we wouldnt have Mariota as backup. 5) depending on a rookie QB to be the franchise QB on day 1 is really setting them up for failure. Look at Justin Fields. He is back up now. once a QB loses that starting spot its hard to get it back as there is only 32 spots on the NFL for starting QB.
Whoever they pick, whatever moves they make, just make it work. Let's go. Play offs 2024. Anything less is unacceptable and will make every draft pick and every off season move highly scrutinized. The change is in the air.

I’ve checked all the social media for the Patriots, Giants and Vikings. No one is interested in Jayden Daniels. There’s nothing definitive from the Raiders organization. That’s just hearsay. The consensus is teams want Drake Maye and could possibly settle for JJ McCarthy. The draft haul for Drake Maye will be huge. Real football people know he has ALL of the traits to be a great QB.
