As is said below, the NIKA film awards are the Russian Oscars, and Diana was the only artist invited to perform.
It was a huge honour for her.
The people shown on the screen are figures from the Soviet and Russian film industry who had died since the NIKA award ceremony had last been held in 2021.
Prominent among them is Eduard Artemyev, who composed the song Diana sings.
It is a part of his soundtrack for the film "Quiet Outpost."
Diana has said repeatedly that she hopes to be cast as the leading actress in a feature film. Her performance on this very impressive occasion should help her realise this ambition!

Simplistically, NIKA is the Russian equivalent of the US Oscars. Albeit theirs is more classy. By comparison, ours is trash.
