Good assessment of the Preve Afiq. Unfortunate for Malaysian car enthusiasts that this model has now been discontinued. It definitely has potential to become better with continuous tweakings and upgrades like it's other siblings.
Preve is national pride, even better than the current S70 ( so called rebadge Geely Emgrand) . Proton Preve will be considered ceiling for engineering , design and tuning in South East Asia ( technically first South East Asia designed car) . It is equipped with multi link which ensure that ride and handling is probably best in the class . Today S 70 just using a torsion beam , and position itself to compete with Civic ( so called a C segment sedan) which is using Multilink . Proton is no longer our national pride since is taken over by Geely due to Malaysian no longer can decide the direction of Proton. It is all dominate by Geely.

I want to buy this car for spare car. But i really have zero knowledge of this car maintenance. Target to buy non turbo 1.6 auto. Any advice or tips?
