Mate nice little purchase that , that will probably serve you much better than the pack raft did , once you get used to lugging on and off your vehicle youll appreciate it more , good to see you out again...p.s dont ear ya crisps whilst chatting lol
Nooooooooooo, you sold the pack raft. In hindsight if you can lug it you'll be better off. I had my eye on a sit on top fishing kayak from Cambridge kayaks. It's got a raised chair with great back support, but it's only 9ft. Still with the inflatable for now 😮
Yeah mate this kayak is only small, less than 9ft, and so much better in all conditions and waters unlike the raft, and the raft still had too much weight to it really. If it was one of the light ones maybe I could've justified keeping it.
Love the kayak chap. Its very similar to mine. Do u have the groove to fit a motor behind u? I love the paddle holders on mine, makes havin a cuppa on the water much less dramatic lol. Having a wildly busy summer but wud still love to get out for a paddle sometime, might have to be autumn tho at this rate lol.
@@hazzardoutdoors mines from galaxy kayaks, cant remember the model name but its the 1 person sit on top one, looks like u have the same groove behind ur seat to fit a bar for either a motor or those stabiliser floaty things. I got a motor but havent got round to testing it yet.
@@hazzardoutdoors the bar was £30 odd, the motor was £200 odd and the battery (i chose electric coz its quieter and i dont want the broads authority to try to charge me for a motor boat) was £1k coz re-li-on is 1/2 the weight of a normal leisure battery. I havent got a battery box yet but that shud be around£20.
Looks like a nice bit of kit. I'll have to get my canoe sorted and get out with you.
Perfect season for it mate.

Nice 1 matey, good to see your well. i really must get my inflatable kayak out and test it.... hopefully this year anyway 🤣
Yeah mate still here. Just had a small break. Definitely chilled getting out on the water thanks for watching.

@MetallicrealitE how much was the motor. Ah yes apparently you can put floatation aids in them for sea use
