Awesome build! That bike is sick, and your video is great. I am wanting to move from Sram NX Eagle on my 2019 Transition Patrol to the Shimano 12sd. My BB is Sram DUB, I'm assuming I'd need to change that, right? Do I need to go with Shimano, or are there other options that will get me the correct spacing? My current rear is 12X148 BOOST and front is 15x110 BOOST. Thanks!
Thanks a lot! You can keep using your existing cranks, you'd just need to change the chainring to work with the Shimano chain. Wolf Tooth Components has some, just look for their chainrings with the 'SH12' in the name. Otherwise just get a Shimano BB which fits your frame and get a Shimano crank, just a bit more expensive that way. Hope I could help you out!
I really enjoy riding, so taking my time during rides to make videos just didn't really work for me. Might give them another shot, but as I'm a trained mechanic now compared to then and know a lot about the technical side, I feel like that will be the thing I'll be better at making videos about.
