I believe the footsteps you were hearing on Armada was actually a decoy grenade. They changed the decoys since Modern Warfare to also make footsteps. You can tell it's a decoy because the footsteps sound digital.

Just a tip to help with longshots, you can mark it and see the exact distance to that marker in meters! Look up the longshot range for the gun in progress and then you can mark and find longshot locations
The noise you heard on armada strike at 7:20 was a decoy grenade. The field mic just highlights enemies on the minimap and makes a high patch noise when they run in the radius. Just thought I'd let you know, have a great day if you're reading this!

You can get your longshots on Nuketown. If you spawn in on the yellow house side, sit behind the fence in the back and shot them when they come around the bus. On the greenhouse side, go upstairs and sit against the wall next to that table where you come in and shoot them in the window of the yellow house. Longshot.... Awesome! :)

You can get long shots in nuke town, in the blue house, stand or crouch at the very back looking at the window, it should be next to the desk and for the yellow house, stay inside and all the way back in the garage looking at the blue house lane
Hey Hannah! When getting headshots and longshots I would recommend using the 2x or the 3x scope. I find when I use them I can target headshots a lot easier and get longshots a lot easier as well. A lot of the iron sights in the game are not very good. Hope you have a great day!!
Nuke town is great for long shots, if u lay down in yellow house garage and aim down the right side, or on green house go in the backyard and climb on the railing of the stairs and go to the corner in ur back left spawn area, then just look down the left side, Hope this helps!
Ive noticed that this cod tends to push people away from it. My friends and I played the hell out of MW but we just can’t get into CW. I applaud you for sticking with it though :)
