- At IES Abroad Dublin, we are committed to providing all our students with a safe and comfortable experience abroad. This also includes sharing our knowledge of how to use all of the public transportation options throughout the city so you can maximize your time (and wallet) by exploring Dublin and beyond!
Special thanks to Tom Maher (videographer), Julia Marks (actor | IES Abroad Dublin alumni, Gaiety School of Acting), Leap Card, Dublin Bus, Luas, Dart and Irish Rail.

This is soooo helpful. I found a lot of great travelling videos but I really wanted to see the specifics of how to use the busses and taxis. Thank you!

They should have a Irish speaker.🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Get out the back door of the bus!
In Dublin we generally use both doors, as 2-door buses are relatively new here
@@evanomairtin1279 well they are 3 years old now and there are many announcements and signage to not use the front door
You got something wrong Belfast is the UK not ireland but apart from that very informative
Actually Belfast is in Ireland . Ireland has 32 counties and Belfast is in Co. Down in the province of Ulster. Ulster is one of 4 provinces that make up the nation Ireland .
Hi! I'm Rilum Osmanaj! Peace
Must be the world's fastest Walker!
As of Feb 2024 much of this is out of date.
belfast has not been part of ireland for the past over 100 years.
Unless there was a tectonic shift where it floated away it has always been a part of Ireland.
@@yermanoffthetelly look at a map
@@IdolMakoI'd suggest you do the same. The island is called Ireland.
@@yermanoffthetelly and it is made up of two countries, fucking tard
