We know through other data that the video was not well received at all, and was downvoted until it became the most disliked video on RUclips. So now we know the video is intensely disliked. But what are the reasons why it is so disliked? We realise that people are basically telling us what they don't like about the video in the comments, but its impossible to manually read 500k comments. So we scrape the data and analyse the textual vectors that give us insight into what people are saying about it. There are natural language processing (NLP) algorithms that can give us a lot of information on the language/words used. That will then enable us to better strategize/implement the next iteration of our product, Rewind in this case. This is a very basic example, and NLP procedures can deliver a lot more complex insights into our data. And it all starts with scraping the data from a RUclips video.
