Most of country teritory is cleaned in the last 25+ years since the damn war is over, but as usual, there's always some tiny path through the forest which isn't for public or hiking, so it could be dangerous, but there's always a mine signs visible aside footpath.
Was there as a soldier end of 1999 going into 2000 and the country does not disappoint. I would love to visit one day. Does my heart good to see it after all these years.
Thank you for your support we appreciate it. People are welcome to visit Bosnia anytime please don’t allow mainstream media to influence you on lies and propaganda.
I’ve been to the bobsled tracks they were pretty cool but my favorite things there was the scenery and visiting all of the forts. I liked the small towns better than the big cities tbh. We spent most of our time in Doboj because that’s where my dad was born. Something else cool was the wild fruit. We got bags of plums and mulberries.
Cuz tourism is getting stronger every year, so most of accomodations are reserved cuz ppl are coming to visit our country from all over the world, and beside Europeans even Asians and ppl from Middle East are coming, that's why everything is reserved in advance.
I am considering to visit Bosnia after coming back from my bicycle trip in Iceland. Bosnia looks far more affordable than the countries I had visited Norway and Iceland.
Just get a good job if you're going to move! You can live good here with a good job but you'll regret moving if you don't get a good one. Oh and you need LOTS of experience before driving in Sarajevo.

This is super true at hikings stay on the trail there is a bunch of landmines and in forests there signs in a lot of places. For the food the favourite dish is Cevapi and we apsolutley love potatoes.
They're incredibly friendly but it does depend a little bit on where you are. Banja Luka for example is full of refugees from Krajina so if you're from any country that helped Croatia, or worse, Croatian yourself they probably won't be that friendly.
@@heyyo162 Milosevic never ordered or condoned genocide. The Germans produced a demonstrably fake document written in Croatian to demonize the Serbs and justify the illegal and immoral NATO bombing of the Federal (non-socialist) Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro). That sounds pretty genocidal to me. And it suits the Germans, considering their history.

For foreigners it's really cheap, for us citizens it's not. You should take that also into consideration.
