@@BookObsession2024 You can just search it up 😐🙄. Wavelength is a social party game where you will compete to read each other's minds. Teams take turns rotating a dial to where they think an item is. Like the overcooked pasta. The dial is hidden (the colourful part). Then the opposing team must place the outside dial where they want. You get points the closer you are. That's why you can see the numbers going out, 4, 3, 2, 1
@@Yoskio basically works like this: you spin that wheel, without peeking where the chart lands. In this case, it landed far on the left side. The 2nd part of the game is the card, where it tells you two opposite things. So, the dude tries to tell the girl with a hint, a word, a name, where on the arc is the chart. So, for her, overcooked pasta is closer to LIMP than to FIRM. Ah, by the way, you can tell the words sides, so it's not a secret that LIMP is on left and FIRM on the right. She needed to figure out how close to firm or how close to limp is a overcooked pasta. I don't know if I over explained hehehe but there it is. Sorry for bad writing, not my first language.
@@thatrock8393 It's a game with a scale, one side of it is for example like they did, limp and the other side is for how firm it is. On the backboard are the points for how far down into limp or firm you have to give an example, you can see that the points are on the far side of the word limp, meaning you have to give an example of something incredibly limo to the other. Like he did, overcooked spaghetti, the other person who had their eyes closed then has to put the pointer on the scale of where they think limp noodles would be, and she got it almost perfectly correct, she got 3 points instead of the max four. Now if he had said for example metal, which is incredibly firm she would have to move the pointer to the other side.
Polygon actually has a great video of a full playthrough of this game, but basically you spin that wheel to randomize where the "points" section is, and then one person on the team looks at where they are and grabs a card that had two opposites on it. Then they cover the wheel and give their teammates a clue word with the goal of them pointing the arrow at the points section of the wheel based on how much their clue leans to one side or the other. As another example, if the prompt was "better hot or better cold" and the arrow was pointing directly towards hot, your clue could be "chicken noodle soup" ruclips.net/video/pS-XT-5R26Q/видео.html&ab_channel=Polygon
I’ve seen two videos on this game: I think that you need to guess the number of what it is. One person can see the point scale and the other has to guess.
I adore this game, my friend got it for me for my birthday and we had a blast playing it. Though the Advanced questions had some.....interesting topics. Sure you got some topics that were more serious, some even political. But nothing could have prepared me for the topic of "sexy/unsexy pokemon" Though to be fair, when we did that one for fun I NAILED it with my hint.
But, you could only really play once if it's with someone you know well and if you have a good memory. Same with the colour game. However cute they may be.
It's called wavelengths. You get a card with a prompt ("limp/firm", "ugly/cute", "ineffective/effective"...). The two sides of the card represent two ends of a spectrum. For example, if i had the card ugly/cute, the left side of the spectrum is the ugliest thing you can think of, and the right is the cutest. The wheel is spun. As you can see in tje video, theres a little portion of the wheel that is coloured. That is where you want the other player to guess. You say a word that you think is on that part of the spectrum, and then the other player moves the red meter thing to the point on the scale that they think the word is. You score more points the closer you are to the middle of that coloured bit. Thats my explaination, if you wanted to see it played in full "no rolls barred" made a video on it.
My mum loves overcooked spaghetti and almost all the elderly people I know like soft noodles better. I would've picked smth more definitive like burnt food
I don’t understand the objection of this game. What are you measuring? Are you turning the dial to match your opinion of how limp overcome spaghetti is?

I think the game has two types of cards. One that has the limp/firm and the other with the scale. The Limp/Firm could be opposites, like Cold/Hot or Bitter/Sweet The Scale could be randomized, either going more to the left or to the right. One person chooses something like Bitter/Sweet, and they see that the Scale is more towards the Sweet side. They might say “Cookie”, to hint at where the scale will land. How close the other person is determines points, and whoever gets the most points win i think.
