Today, Mount Merapi still frequently experiences lava avalanches originating from the southwest side of the lava dome. There are also lots of dry and fallen trees due to the eruption of Mount Merapi a few days ago. This time the sand miners have started working to look for sand at the location. who are affected by the eruption of Mount Merapi and the smell of sulfur can be smelled from this mining location area, but they are also always alert and always get the latest information on Mount Merapi's activities, so if the relevant parties forbid them, they will stop their activities, but until now there has been no notification from Mount Merapi. Merapi is still on standby and they only work for a few hours after the sand removal process is complete, they return to their respective homes.
