I agree that eye-gouging should be banned, but they agreed to this and the refs responded with "anything goes" in another video that ended on with one guy gouging. That said Oak spared the guy a bad concussion by doing that instead of ground-and-pounding him and his eye seemed to be OK afterwards, so there's ups and downs

My guess is outcomes like this will gradually result in fighters increasingly utilising such tactics. Presumably the guy who won this fight has drastically increased the chances of a future opponent gouging his eyes. I think that is why very few people have done it.

The reason why I think it should not be allowed to go for the eyes is because I think most men have it as an honour principle, an unwritten rule, and won't do it. So when someone does it, the question rises, how would the fight have turned out if the other man chose to not respect his opponent and went for the eyes as well? It's like a loophole where you can take advantage of another man's respect for you.

A luta estava boa até esse final horrível, como tinha dito na luta do "American BloodAxe" contra "KNF" , isso de dedo no olho vai se tornar comum e empobrecer as lutas, tudo pq é um caminho fácil para uma vitória horrível. Mesmo que seja um evento sem regras, deveria ser estipulado algumas como restringindo dedo no olho ou outros golpes ditos "ruins".
Eu ainda não consigo aceitar de como o cara estava por cima e não aproveitou mais, ele poderia ter terminado brutalizando a cara do adversário com socos enquanto o sangue escorria para o chão, difícil aceitar que ele escolheu uma vitória podre.

With cauliflower ears like that, I was surprised that the bloke in the black shirt didn't finish the fight when he had his opponent in mount or with his back taken. I was waiting for him to sink in the RNC. He didn't know how to escape the mount either.
About the ending, no rules are no rules, I guess. But there are more and less honorable ways to win a fight. That was as honorless as possible.
Worked out better for the opponent actually as he didn't have his head bouncing off the ground. Definitely would have been bad to lose an eye or some shit but in this case he just tapped; spared his eyes and his brain.

I was pressing them about this on Telegram. They said that it's "no rules" once they search the fighters to clear them of additional weapons or items. But does that mean fingering someone's ass is allowed? What about pissing or shitting yourself while on top of them? What if you took them to the ground and tried to r*pe their anus? The only reasonable answer is to obviously ban all of that, including gay, scummy garbage like eye gouging. There's zero skill involved.

There should be one rule, no eye poking. In a street fight you don’t fight for survival but for honor and pride, at least people think they do. So even though there are no rules, eye poking is big time jail time, fighting normally doesn’t land you in prison if it is a fair fight.
