My favorite thing to do with the copycats is to wait until they start charging up their blaster and then attack them with my own and then dodge their blaster attack completely. Discourages them from using the blaster, hence all long range attacks. Still not fun to be hit by the bone, but it is easier to attack something close than it is to attack something far away.
