No other video I've seen on YT has been so precise and accurate in explaining how to do this job, none of the others mentioned the 2 grooves the seal has to fit on the inside drum ring!
I have a Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine E - Nr. WAS28461GB/07 and this one varies a little bit to your display machine.
The Logixx 8 control panel covers 3 screws on the top edge holding the front panel in place apart from the 3 screws in the detergent drawer fascia. The control panel was initially a puzzle to remove as there were no plastic pieces extending on top of the top frame, eventually I found that (looking from the front) the inside top right lug was the one needing to be pushed to release the control panel.

Firstly thank you for your amazing and very detailed video - here in Melbourne I have Bosch series 6 with the same opening front door with the inside cable for the lock and the plastic hanging inside ( also the 2 screws at the bottom of the front door which no one else mentioned when you remove the front door) - the cost for the new seal is $75 - and to call someone to replace it its about $250 extra - which you save me ..also the tip for the dishwashing water on the seal itself to make it easy back - and the how to use the tip with the spring - those are the best tips I saw online ..Thank you sir for your help !!!

Thanks for the great video! Heating the springs under hot water makes them expand and easier to fit. And if the model has a spring going all the way round for the inner spring, use string tied to the borders of the machine to hold the top and right hand side in place, and the handle of a wooden spoon to keep the left hand side of the spring in its channel so it doesn't jump out.
Living in Germany, I watched quite a few German Bosch/Siemens tutorials first. German engineering, German tutorials, makes sense, I thought... But only your video showed me that immensely practical tool "Hook Pick"; didn't know it exists before. Work is so much easier now - thank you!!
I made the change of the seal today and I can tell you this a brilliant description of the working steps. I'm not an English nativ speaker, but with the good video sequences I was able to make it happen in one hour. Not every machinie is similar, but the important parts of mounting and dismounting are the same.
I reviewed any couple descriptions of this job on youtube. Your movie is the best.

Every information is needed is clearly said and nothing more. Very good. I just replaced mine on exact same model. Step by step and screw by screw. Unfortunately, my washing machine stopped after 30 minutes to wash cycle. I wonder what I could have done wrong?

This video was perfect for replacing the door seal on our 2017 Bosch WAQ28470GB sold in UK. (I do have to say though, the band with spring that came with the new seal for the final door seal was much tighter than shown here and took two of us to get it in place.)

Thank you - this video was very clear and I was able to change the door seal myself. I didn't have a hook pick, so I used a metal coat hanger!
You can use a flat head screw driver that fits in the spring hole as well. But the video was amazingly clear.

I found this very helpful. The hardest part about the job for me was. Removing the door lock wire from the panel. Also I remove the door. Making it easier to handle the panel. If you don't have a hug to all you can use needle nose vice Grips.

Hi so new seal arrived and has been fitted successfully using your video. The only additional step I needed to do was to remove the left hand counter balance weight as I couldn't get sufficient access to fit the seal to the inner rim on that side. I also needed an extra pair of hands(the wife) to help hold the inner spring into the grove , while I pulled it with the pick tool. My machine is a Bosch Varioperfect. 2015 model. Thanks again for posting this.

Great video, although the generic principles of fitting doorseals are fine, but it's knowing things like what screws and where they are located that need removing
Also the little tips like lubing the seal before fitting and what tools make fitting easier.
The hook tool is a great idea
If you don't have a hook tool then you can use some string made into a loop and use a screwdriver in the looped string and that works just as well if you don't have a hook tool

After you replace the seal, make sure to leave the door open when the machine is not in use and once a month run the machine on a hot 90 degree cycle. This will stop the new seal from getting mouldy.
