I found this while looking for the song "Super Lover" by Rena Scott (disco from 1977 or so) and saw this song had the same title. Clicked on it because I wondered if it was the same song. It's not. And then I heard the "reach out for me" and instantly realized the lyric was sampled (or simply copied) from the Four Tops "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" (1966). The old songs pop up everywhere!
