I found a way to play against infantry general and armor general and salvage general in shock wave all u need is the single player experince file its there on moddb
In my run the Scud storm fired at my base. I wonder what happened. I think Shockwave Chaos is developed later since the problems of some general's AI are fixed there
you know legi i think when you finally start playing contra mod challenges I bet you wouldn't complain against the AI messing up , you will be commenting about how hard the challenges are in it, like by far the hardest mod to play challenges in is contra mod. but well until then i know you said you will not be switching mods until you get used to shockwave and play it for at least like 6 months or so.

Btw there's a mod that fixes all the AI, and add 3 more generals which is Armor, Salvage and Infantry. It's an additional file for this mod,
I hope he reads this, the challenges are not really fun this way.

You should try the Shockwave Chaos in hard , some generals like toxins and superweapons are quite annoying with the very OP weapons
