Thanks Ahsan! (Sorry it's taken me a while to see this!)

Always a risk. It's why I consciously only brought my x100v on my bike trip as it forced me to only think in terms of super simple stills.
I love the idea of working out what you're going to do with what you create later! This was a wicked video (and I might totally steal this idea)

If you steal it can I steal your shiny lenses in return? Thanks in advance for saying yes 🙏 "it's what friends are for"

But also yes, 100% can see why you'd take the x100V.

Beautiful Pictures! Everybody has to switch off once in awhile and not just on vacation. I admire creative people very much (which I am not) but I think creative minds sometimes have a more difficult time switching it off. Have to be present to actually enjoy the memorable moments. 💕

I'd argue that everyone is creative in their own way!! :) You're absolutely right about being present. Not always easy, but hugely important and worth focusing on

Amazing, man. I think, as much as we try to, once we start we can't stop thinking through the lenses of our passions. There's a beauty to it. Maybe because we all don't have the same thinking processes and passions we may see it as a distraction from enjoying, but maybe it's just part of how we see life.
I get the point of wanting to get completely out of character for a while, but it's quite impossible haha. We just have to use that to our advantage, and enjoy the silence anytime we get the chance.
It's quite frustrating sometimes tho haha.
On another note, great photos. An as always, nice to watch one of your videos, they have a certain coziness to them. Good to see you having a great time with your loved ones.

Cheers Roberto! You're right. I think it may be impossible, and not necessarily a bad thing, but it definitely feels exhausting once in a while. I guess it's like any passion; it's great to have and can be exciting, but there are times when it can feel unhealthy.
Coziness is a vibe I love so thank you 🙏 It's been a 7 week pause on all things work related, which whilst I was itching to get going again, was actually really good to spend with the loved ones! Hope you're doing ok :)

Consider me a very very jealous man. I'll try and remember so I can hit you up next time I'm over there! Will be back within the year I think!

Always interesting when people come to canada and appreciate the mundane things we take for granted. Instead of appreciating the shapes or vehicles you’d be more prone to hear about how bad the ones driving said vehicle are so that’s always an interesting observation from another’s perspective. Banff was on my list for 2020 but then _ _ _ _ _ happened. (We don’t talk about that)
Regardless, good stuff! If there’s ever any right answer on this matter I think this video sums up all the things that matters most; detaching from what we’re used to & plugging into the mundane, refreshing our environments to something new, appreciating the small things and sharing them with people we love & care about.

I must admit I did also notice the amount of cracked windscreens in people's cars haha. I get it though...weather, stones etc. Just struck me so much as over here it's like "you got a chip? Daammnn son you're in trouble"
I feel like you've summed it up better than I did haha. Definitely about refreshing that environment and plugging into mundane, and sharing with people we care for. Hope you're doing good Travis!
