This was the first album I listened to ever. It was my favourite album of 1986/1987. It is still my favourite album of hers even after all these years. I sooo agree with you #1 pick. NASTY is just a vibe so Funky and makes you wanna dance. The production is insane and vocals only Janet could do. No one can perform that song like her.
That had absolutely been on my radar! All the songs she's featured in or featured on another album/compilation album, runaway, make me diamonds absolutely I wanna make a video on that!

A channel dedicated to Janet Jackson? Oh yeah you got a new subscriber!! I LOVE talking about/listening to people talk about Janet's music because I think she has one of the most fascinating and iconic discographies of any artist. I can't wait until you get to the post Velvet Rope albums because those are really my favorites (namely All For You and Damita Jo). In regards to this video, I rarely listen to Control but I did relisten the other day and I keep forgetting how hard Nasty goes!! You Can be Mine is my least favorite song on the album so I was surprised to see it (relatively) high lol but solid list! Also I forgot where I saw it, but jimmy jam did say that Janet has always done all the vocals in her songs (no background singers ever!), so that makes it even more amazing what she does in her songs.
Control is one of the best pop albums ever created !! Is pure magic. Control create a new whole movement for other artists after her to even exists. Janet miss Jackson if you are nasty. Period.
