- This song is beautiful. I loved it when I first heard Rihanna sing it at the Grammys in 2013 and decided to do a cover of it. It would be better if you remove the likely possibility that Rihanna thinks about Chris Brown when singing this song. At least she didnt write it (Mikky Ekko and Justin Parker co-wrote it)

Anje Charles that’s really flattering. That’s what it takes. Just try listening for the root notes to figure out chords. That’s how I figured it out on piano. Listening to the root note and bass line. And guessing at whether it’s a minor chord or major, hoping it sounds right and if not, then keep trying.

I was thinking about learning how to play the violin after being inspired by a couple of videos that you did. I was wondering how you usually learn how to play these songs on the violin? Is it by sheet music or by listening to the notes by ear?
Thank you. It’s by ear. I only really learned European classical music using sheet music. Every other genre I play is by ear: r+b, jazz, pop, rock, etc. hopefully you got a violin and started lessons in the last 8 months!
