I pulled mine apart and couldn’t figure out how to get battery out. Couldn’t close. Was finally able to with a rolling pin. Now will change battery with knowledge. Thank you.
Use kitchen dish cleaning sponge with the sharp side to mask the scratches on the back. It happened to me as well. I also damaged screw holding battery, because none of Philips screwdrivers fit, but I managed to remove it and put it back. Now I am struggling with closing the cover. The watch already started disappointing me since compass doesn't with anymore and the plate with some digits shifted. Great design but I have rather frustrating experience.
Is there an internal reset switch that needs to be pushed so that other functions start working. My watch gives certain beeps when the Tide button is pressed and the Temp is at 0 degree C - all this after battery change.
I don't think it is possible. How did you close it? I attempted to use clamp with pieces of wood, but it didn't work. I have vice, but I don't want to damage the watch. I don't have press. Even standing on it wasn't enough.
Aliexpress delivery is not to India anymore. So I suggest to get a normal nylon strap and cut the edges based on the size using a sharp object and do heat the edges after cutting it to prevent from getting damaged.
Wish the band replacement was easier. Looks quite simple in the video, but real life those screws are difficult to get out. I've tried wd-40 and still they won't release

One strap came out easily the another one was very hard though. the difficultly in removing it was edited and removed from the video brother. 😜. I asked an other persons help to hold the watch dial and the screw with a screw driver tightly on a table and I unscrewed it from the other side.
yes correct.. But just in case, this the watch screw tube with pins measures around 24mm in size may be u can try in internet for the delivery options. but I hope if oiled and try to remove with an other persons help u can remove it without breaking it and don't loose the screw.🤝

Strap is hard to remove. Timex should have used a quick release strap instead of this screw bar.

You need two flat screw 🪛🪛 to release that lock pins..but my problem is where to buy that lock pins in case they break or get lost..
