+ScorchedEarthToys i dont have no problems with my vf 0D or vf 0A, the legs still in place, the only problem was the antena in my vf 0D but was my mistake i break it :( thanks for the review!! always help with the transformation :D
My copy had a breast plate defect. During transformation to Battroid mode, the inside of the cockpit hood cover scraped the clear cockpit plastic pretty badly. Poor QC Arcadia. But my leg stayed intact. I did find that left leg joint to be particularly tight when trying to pull it out from the hinge to loosen it for more articulation. I was afraid to pull it thinking it might snap off. But luckily it didn't. I'm sorry it happened to you. That really stinks. I hope Arcadia will fix these issues before their Dec. release of the VF-0S. Thanks for the review.
For $300 a figure should not break at all while transforming it. That is unacceptable quality from any business. I would defiantly contact the manufacture.
+Jonathan Bridges Due to the licensing of anything labeled "Macross" the manufacturer is only allowed to offer customer service to the domestic Japanese market. The store I bought it from had a strict 10 day return policy and it took me more than that to open the box (I'm a busy guy) :(
That sucks man. I don't think I could buy anymore figures from Arcadia after that. I specifically bought my VF-1A Max DYRL Type (2009) based on your recommendations. So I guess your loss dose help others avoid the same fate. Too bad the lesson for everyone is a such a high cost to you. I would like to get the VF-25G Renewal but I can't bring myself to pay $450 for it. Oh and I hope you have better luck with figures in the future.
Jeebus, $300!!?? When I paid $130 for my Yamato VF1S fighter in the early 2000s, thought I lost my mind thinking that was a good idea lol. If only these were popular enough for some Chinese manufacturer to make upgrade/repair kits for these things.
Yamato figure's leg falls off, well it changes of VF 1/60 shoulder's cracking or garland Megazone shoulder's breaking. They could includes glue as an accessory.
+mrschelseawong Since my 0D had the leg fall off also, I am not terribly optimistic about the 0S. I do have a 0S preordered though and will be reviewing that one in a much more timely fashion than I usually do. Unfortunately, if the leg doesn't fall off that might just mean I'm luckier this time around and since the faulty mechanism is internal I may not be able to confirm any changes were made when I do the 0S review.
that's a pain in the ads that the leg broke.....and can anyone please tell me why these things DONT have tailplanes (small wings on the back like a real plane).okay I know its sci fi but from a strictly real world view piont these things shouldn't be able to fly in jet mode due to a lack of tailplanes.....and it just don't look right to me....but cool review all the same.☺
Bummer dude, this is not cool. I wonder if Arcadia also has a lengthy excuse for their shoddy QC? Sick to death of premium priced "toys", that suffer from poor engineering and quality control. This is the one model I was willing to pay Arcadia's silly RRP, but guess I'll continue to pass on everything they release. I sure hope they don't pull another Yamato on their upcoming Garland...
Working on the VF-0S review (yes, I bought another Arcadia VF-0 despite having the first two lose their legs). Should be up soon.

PROTO TYPE OF VF-1A IT AWSOME.
Suck for that leg issue, don't really like the color of this one, hope the 0s will fix the leg issue, but I doubt it.
Do you see this "leg falling off issue" happening with the upcoming vf-0s release next month?

Looks great! =D
OCD alert - the label on the gun is in reverse.

WOW!!! $300 and the leg falls off. I'll pass.
I can't stop laughing looking at that gerwalk intro. I sorry. I hope you get the toy fixed.
