@@lumyplays not really out of nowhere, ross has been talking about his pneumonia for the last couple of videos and does for the first 5 minutes of this one lol
I just made some Frankenstein bread mixing a bunch of different flour types that were about to expire, including cake flour and whatnot, and it was the best bread I've ever made. Sorry but I don't have anyone to brag it to right now and it's so good lmao.
@@schelles_xviii That's the difficult part, I thought nothing of it and just threw everything in without a care, thinking it would be a mess anyways. I never wrote a recipe, so it might be long. I guess I used about... 150g bread flour 150g all-purpose flour 100g self-rising all-purpose flour 100g (+needed) self-rising cake flour 10g fresh yeast 1 teaspoonful of sugar 2 spoonful of salt 3 spoonful of cooking oil 5 spoonful of melted fat ~500ml of warm water - Yeast prep - I first combined the fresh yeast with sugar in a jar, added a bit of warm water, mix it up a little, and waited for it to rise (30 minutes or so.) While waiting I sifted all the flour a few times to check if it was bad, and to amalgamate it a little. - Dough prep - Once the yeast was ready (it failed to rise lmao) I added it into the flour fiesta, along with every other remaining ingredient. My guess is that I threw in too much water, and the dough felt more like a paste. In panic, I added a whole lot of self-rising cake flour until my monster finally started to look like a dough, but it was still a bit difficult to knead given how soft and chewy it was. So I added even more flour. - Rising - Once I felt defeated, I just left it alone and covered in a bowl to let it rise. About 45 minutes. It didn't rise. - Pre-oven - Utterly sick of it, I kneaded it a bit more and cut it into equal parts. In need of revenge, I made a huge cut along the middle section of every piece of little dough, and made 3 deep stabs on each side of the cut. - Oven - I spread some oil in the dough tray and sparked a bit of flour on it. Cook it in the oven at mid-low temperature for 45 minutes, and another 15 minutes after flipping the buns. The final result was a really tender bread, quite tasty on its own, but I used it for sandwiches. If the yeast worked, I would've managed to make much more of it, and it would've been even more tender. If I knew it would work, I would have painted the top of the buns with a mix of churn egg, milk, garlic, and some spices or seeds.
I live in Canada and a sushi place just moved into town that sells something called “sushi pizzas” and I’m really not sure what it is or what it means, but comparatively sushi burgers seems similar. I don’t know what either are, mind you. But in simple terms of mashing sushi with another food they could be brothers.
I had a burger one time that was RANCID! But I was out with one friend who ALWAYS sent their food back complaining about it, and so I didn’t want to be a bother, so I ate enough of it not to seem rude and couldn’t leave the bathroom for 4 days.
See, I am not a picky eater AT ALL, but I have always turned my nose up and refused to eat sweet potato casserole (we call it "Candied Yams" where I am from). I REALLY like to cook, but never learned how to make that dish, as it seems garish to me... but... ORANGE JUICE is used? SERIOUSLY? That is absolutely wild to me, lmfao.
In Russia it's also popular to do some weird things with sushi. Sushi pizza is just like baked sushi there the rice is the "pizza dough" and fish or shrimps or other seafood mixed with unagi sauce and mayo is "pizza topping". Same with burger - sushi rice forms "bun" (not rice bun made with rice frour and baked, it's just clumps of rice formed in a bun), and fish with some addings is the burger. Something like "open" onigiri lol.
Ross, you have to come to southern Brazil and try our "xis", which is derived from cheeseburger, probably. It's wider and have a better meat to bun ratio and is "grilled" on a sandwich press. It's definitely better than any tall burger
The weirdest food here in America, in my opinion, is deep fried Oreos. You gotta be diabetes incarnate for that. Sloppy Joe's are actually really good. It's basically just a saucy hamburger.
Ross check out the central Midwest staple called a horseshoe sandwich. Shits disgusting, but I'll be damned if it ain't as Uhmerican as they come (*eagle noises fuck the metric system*)
Pneumonia is no joke. Different people have different reactions to diseases. I was immunocompromised during the first wave of and caught Covid. I got through it, albeit painfully, without needing to go to the hospital. For all intents and purposes, I should have been hospitalized on the spot. That doesn't mean it wasn't a huge threat to me. I'm glad you got through it though man. I don't watch all your videos, but every time I do it's chill af. I'd be sad to ever see you disappear.
i hate how they went for the laziest fix for illaoi... just change the length number by 175px... i was hoping they would borrow zyra passive plants and make tentacles spawn in the middle of the lane instead of on the wall... now if you are in jungle she hits you with like 6 tentacles...
Ok, Ross, pneumonia's not a joke and it can hundred to zero even a young person. Please be healthy and be safe. Also yeah, sorry for pushing this theme, but it's also extremely cunning. You can feel ok, but then just get totally screwed overnight
I got pneumonia as a completely healthy 16-year old and it almost killed me. I missed a month of school and almost failed a bunch of classes.
jesus hpoe ur ok bro
Just dumped that out of absolutely nowhere in a league videos comments but sorry for your troubles I guess

There's a town near my hometown called Sandwich in MA and yes the police cars just say Sandwich Police on em lmfao
Its crazy that no one mentioned sweet potato casserole, Sweet potatoes, orange juice and marshmallows put together into one unholy piece.
The kinda dish you only google in private mode

Pot roast, cornbread and banana splits are pretty universal America food.
Meatloaf... a loaf of meat. It's like burger meat but in a bread loaf pan. Meat Loaf.

Ross, I say this out of love. Quit vaping while you have pneumonia. Please.
This Garen gave so poor content that Ross had to resort to food discussion.
Hurricane Illaoi? More like Hurricane Illongi!
