Hutchinson been getting screwed all season. No holding penalties called in his favor no matter how obvious it is.
I agree there was a blatant one yesterday in the first half on 3rd or 4th down that should have ended the drive.
It's ok to say he's just not that good...if he was respected like that they would call something but refs don't see him as a threat at all. Number 2 pick and he hasn't shown up in the last 4 weeks. I will get hate for this I don't care but they don't even double him anymore. That spin move just not working. I get most of us are Michigan fans so no matter what Hutchinson does we will say he's great just being bias fans.
@detroitlionspistonstigersr6735 First off I could care less about college. Second I highly disagree. He's shown up and put a ton of pressure on the Qb week after week. The refs are allowing holds on him blatant holds and it's not getting called which is garbage and in my opinion he's not to blame.
I also think he's playing hurt after the interception. Either it's that or the game is rigged and they told him to tone it down, as if you notice he's not hopping around d before the snap now in the last few weeks.
I'm not making excuses but even a blind man can see that somethings going on.

Chargers fan here, poor management and ownership has held this team down and we nailed the coffin by going to LA the plastic state cause there is bit of everyone in LA. As a Charger fan, Ill tell you whats up with my team. Its bad head coaching, and its been that way for 10 years. And that comes from the owners. The owners have put their friend ( the GM) ahead of the coach. They want a hc that will do what the gm says.....and probably a little truth to the fact that people say the owners of rhe Cuargers are cheap -so they hire all these first time hc's with no experience. Last time we were good and competitive was our last two HC's that had experience: Marty Schottenheimer and Norv Turner . Since then its been guys we NO hc experience at ANY level. THIS TEAM NEEDS JIM HARBAUGH NEXT SEASON

Definitely a coaching issue. That said, that talent difference between starters is wild.
Some players would be starters on most other teams, others would maybe be on the practice squad.
As far as the OL goes, it was looking good until the starting center went on IR for a heart issue. Has been in disarray since.
Allen is the only consistent reciever.
Ekeler isn't a threat in the run game really, mostly as a reciever.
The defense has some star players, but the scheme is either too complex or not coached well enough leading to constant confusion by the players.
By the way, that 75 yard running touchdown you were criticizing the defense over, that was a busted play and the wrong play. They had the wrong personnel for the play they had scripted so goff checked the play into a generic run play, but then the defense cracked open so the WRs got their blocks down field.

It's really very simple. The Lions are better than the Jets and most other teams in the league. They are in contention for the #1 seed in the NFC.
Id like to think in my humble opinions teams saw the lions go for it on 4th inside our 20 against the chiefs and it worked, so now everyone gassed up and wanting to play hard on 4th. Imho
