"He was happy about it, and then he wasn't. " 😆 My, he's an expressive boy!! Congratulations, what an excellent result, especially for riding alone! I loved the well earned nap in the sunshine after.
Hi Kobus from South Africa, greate video and greate horse..will come far in future.you are a greate horse lady.keep up the good horseman ship. I breed arabian horses and do endurance since 1982. Greetings"To finish is to win"
Thanks for sharing, it looks like fun! Do you find the horses are spookier to ride in the dark with only helmet lights? How do you not get lost?! Look forward to watching more vlogs.
Thanks for watching! I actually find riding at night much more relaxing since generally the horses are a lot less spooky. They have pretty good vision at night! I did a video on my tik tok explaining how we try not to get lost haha - we follow little arrow markers, for night rides these sometimes have reflective tape on them so we can see them!
Amazing video! I have a 3yo arabian mare and she is 15.1 too. I hope we can compete in endurance after a few years. I wanted to ask you where is your saddle from? Its really good.
Thank you so much! The saddle I’m riding in is a Holmbros Saddle from Australia. I’m getting a new saddle though that’s much better for me and my horse! It’s a Gaston Mercier Margeride :)
Depends from ride to ride. This ride at Bony Mountain was fairly flat so maybe only 200-300m elevation. I have done some with 800-1000m elevation before!
So awesome! Thank you for sharing!

He definitely has two personalities 🤣 but he’s such a cool dude. He did so well ❤️
This makes me miss endurance racing so much. My arab isn't phenomenal at it, so the best we were able to do was an 8 hour 80km, which was dead last.
It’s a great sport! I love that the horse always comes first and it’s great to work up to greater speeds! To complete is to win :)
@@romeothearabian I love that that is your club's motto. In Canada we stay: To finish is to win

@@romeothearabian Thank you so much for the response! Good luck with the upcoming competitions! 😊
What elevation changes do you go through on these rides?😄
