Not trying to be the internet guy so don't read any sarcasm in my feedback. You said "this marks a complete 360 for the games performance and quality" - saying 360 means it is back where it started - 180 is the proper idiom? phrase? cliche? you get my drift.
I gotta say I played this game the moment it launched on gamepass. I love the souls like genre and played a lot of fromsoftware. I am not the best player in this genre, but I never get stuck on bosses for to long. Now this game, I like the setting, story and the mechanics, but after a while I was just done with how some bosses feel. I never died sooooo freaking much, in the later game, and it feels like I am underleveled in almost every situation I find myself in. It is just annoying.
From what I’ve seen, most people with this issue didn’t take the time to learn the combat fully so opted to just run through the levels which caused them to miss out on loot and all around experience.

@@ValorCast1 I suck at souls games but I’m always attracted to them. I’m not ready or able to get good so a modifier that gives me a chance is appreciated
LotF was one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had. It launched with an overwhelming about of glitches, slowdown, balance issues, and crashes. I couldn't finish the game due to a bug preventing me from reaching the physical point where it would play the ending. The devs gaslight the fanbase stating these issues were 'rare' when it was happening to anyone in the same situation. After everything was fixed, it still ran horribly and was a very, very bland souls like. If I were to install it again, my character would be level 1k due to some stat re-rolling bug, something that the devs couldn't actually fix so they just removed the feature to respec in other's games. And after everything, I still didn't care much for the umbral world gimmick, poor game balance, and lack of weapon attack variety. It's very same-y over and over again. I highly recommend lies of P over this, or even something like remnant 2.
@@DragonMasterSubo Fair point not everyone had a smooth experience with this game, i personally had, and I’ve played both of those games you mention not to discredit anything you’ve said because i sense you truly hate this game and it must be because of some personal issues you might have experienced but I’ve played both of the games you mentioned lies of P was pretty cool and all but i felt it a bit childish and not complex enough it bored me i guess i like dark gothic styles and games who pander to a more mature audience, so not a bad game however I wouldn’t put it on par with this one with my experience being so great and also now having so many different things to make lords of the fallen the best state its ever being and remnant 2 i downloaded and the graphics looked like a ps3 graphic game i booted it downloaded and uninstalled the 1st hour of playing its a game i will not cover in this channel to avoid giving my bias unless gamers request it. I think it would be more fair to compare it to its actual competition like dark souls and blood borne rather than a game that has nothing of equivalence to LOTF I recently played dark souls 3 and LOTF is way better than dark souls in almost every aspect better than demon souls remaster, now bloodborne on the other hand its a different beast all together, and elden ring is an open world I wouldn’t compare it to that Lies of P is ehhh cool good graphics and all but the story didn’t captivate me enough i like gothic medieval times bro im very bias i guessed anyways thank you for the comment and i would urge you to try it again if you haven’t
@@ValorCast1 LotF has very bland level and game design. Too claim it's better than any souls is pretty funny. LotF doesn't even have multiple animations for weapon class attacks, all dual wield attacks are the same, etc. The few things I think LotF did right (spellcasting, NG+ options, equip mods) are completely overshadowed by what it lacks. It's also very hard to try to listen to anyone that states they 'didn't have those issues' when their video is praising fixing the issues... that they didn't have. LotF is nowhere near the quality of Lies of P, or any of FS's games.
@@DragonMasterSubo That it requires maybe something that other souls games have that this one doesn’t it’s a fair point but to say that we can’t compare it at all… That’s very funny to me if you asked my opinion. The game is nowhere bland, and actually pretty intriguing with the umbral mechanics, and world exploration tactics that even other souls games don’t have to offer, and yes I played Dark souls 3 and had a blast on that game, but dark souls 3 is an older game that should deserve its own respect for how it has endured the test of time. I love from Software games but I’m not a fanboy to say I can’t compare a game to theirs. Lies of P is a good game, but it’s a game you play once and put away basically. For me the story was unbearable, the story the world fighting toy creatures maybe I’m too old school because it certainly was not a bad game what so ever. But I cannot compare to it to the likes of LOFT just in the combat aspect of it. The other game you mentioned in the first comment I just ignored completely that you mentioned it as it’s a terrible game no wonder why psn plus has it for free maybe I didn’t put my time into it but it didn’t catch my interest in the slightest. Your telling me I can’t compare this game to demon souls when the last boss The Demon Dragon king, and the god Adyr from LOTF are literally the same. The combat, the stamina consumption, and even the death of aspect of reviving in a lamp to then go back and pick up your souls it’s basically identical it’s baffling to me maybe we played a different game.
