You need to clone the contents of your old drive, or clean install Windows. I use True Image.

Standard 2.5" SATA SSD will fit just fine.
I wonder why he replaced a 1TB hard drive with an SSD with only 240gb? Would you replace it with an 2TB SSD?
The video is about 3 years old - SSD prices were higher then.
The upgrade was for better performance, the capacity wasn't needed.
