It's the end of 2024, and I just bought a 2008 Acura MDX with 109,000 miles in great condition for only $8850. They just replaced the waterpump and timing belt too, for free! It is like new and I plan to drive it another 200,000 miles before I give it to my grandson. It is a wonderful machine. People love their MDX's.
But the only way to get an interior color other than the 35 year old GLOOMY GRAY or DEATH BLACK in a Subaru Forester is to buy the Touring model which is a couple of thousand dollars more than an Outback Limited with Tan Leather interior and about the same price as an Outback Touring. The Outback is a larger vehicle, more comfortable and has more interior volume.
2025 Subaru Forester almost perfect. Can I get a Forester without the Huge Infotainment System. And Traditional Old School Buttons, Knobs, and Switches. Simple Reliability and Fuel Efficiency is what I am looking for in a new Automobile. The Laws need to Change. It is illegal for to use a Cell Phone when Driving. But, somehow the Infotainment System is legal. This does not make any sense to me.
People need to do their homework to find out what fuel injection systems these cars have if it's not direct and port fuel injection you will not have longevity.
I have a 2020 Telluride all toys under 50k miles recall 6 times almost small stuff. I'm 82. I usually get 150+ before sell.. I doubt I'll live long to see that, but I love this SUV.
Telluride & Forester are the only ones for me, NO Sedans or Electric/hybrids for me. Sedans for me are 2nd vehicle & Only a Rolls Royce & Bentley about 20 26, yet won’t get new
funny you mention that. there is a youtube channel that drives everything, and one of the said 'the telluride is the most boring car ive ever driven, i hope i never have to drive one again'. i was like DAMN.
@@princesethadu-krah9374 There is an video on you tube by EE "Engineering Explained" that is entitled: "It turns out hybrids are really hard on engines". An very thurough video.
@@BARNEYFIFE-d4r I have a 2010 hybrid and in reading a multitude of data including EE's I don't believe his points are valid. The process of using Toyota's hybrid wherein the electric motors operates to propel the vehicle up to 8 mph then switching to the ICE would indicate that there is less stress on the engine, not more. Read the comments in his video and decide for yourself.
I note that Toyota is recalling 100,000 Land Cruisers! They also have another major recall in the works! What is going wrong with Toyota.. the once natural choice for problem free driving?
Subaru uses sealant all over the head which is crazy and it’s only CVT. Ioniq is an EV - hacking and control and high risk Hybrids have long term wear and take due to extra stress on engine parts Honda civic CVT Kia after wear and tear , possible overheating, oil usage
Hi "Ted" (AI voice). So evidently there are no cars of this assessed quality that are affordable? BTW, the AI voice trying so hard to be colloquial is funny. I miss the actual humans . . .
When will these car show figure out that the cubic feet of a trunk OR car don't mean shit to most people......AND .....click OFF of robots and DISLIKE.

Is that why Lexus full hybrids last 300,000 miles?
KIA AND HUNDIA 15 million recalls since 2015,YES THEY ARE THE BEST,BS!
We have a 2023 Hyundai Sonata Limited and haven’t had a recall since purchasing new. It’s been completely trouble free.
Recalls everywhere
Ford is the most recalled vehicle
Hyundai Ionic 6 looks like a Benz EQE.
I read Benz is redesigning it already.
Two kia's in my household and they have been great. The soul has 200,000 miles on it.
