Thanks! Totally save this for reference! I've done couple upgrades myself, mostly adding crash bar, foglamp, back box, windshield as 1st priority list.
Thank you! If do any off-road sprocket upgrades are great (1 down on the front, or 2 up on the rear, or both). Fuelx lite is also a game changer in tandem with a good aftermarket lid filter. Good luck!
Side stand bypass dongle. It cannot be rewired like in others bikes, its magnetic and it’s wrongly placed if you like doing off-road and single tracks. That should be our number 1 priority mod. In the event of a fall or damage to the sensor one will not be able to start the bike at all.
I used an aliexpress midpipe and it only used the small exhaust gasket. I couldn’t use my original gaskets, but they are like $15 on eBay. Worth buying them right away
I like your videos but the whole thing with the foot pegs is absurd. I just don't get the hoopla. I have been riding on/off road bikes for 25 years on over 15 different bikes, the stock foot pegs just don't matter to me. The resonator delete for a bunch of weight savings, garmin gps, 14t sprocket, double take mirrors, and more aggressive tires of your choice are my MVP upgrades. Other upgrades that I have done just lightened my wallet. I'm actually considering getting rid of my trex skid plate because it weighs a ton and relying on my skills to pick good lines with the stock one.
Hey thanks Jack for the support and comment. To each his own, that’s great you can make it happen with the stock pegs. I’m gonna do that delete myself here soon. Any recommendations, brands?
I bought it on ebay. Shift-tech I think. It was the made in the USA one. It was about $150 6 months ago. It didn't seem any louder than with the giant heavy resonator and it left the 2nd cat in place as well. As I get older, I want my toys to be quiet. Love the images of your county side over there. @@advinjapan
Yeah, I bought an SRC Moto skid plate and still haven't installed it. I only recently noticed that the metal portion of my stock plastic guard was a bit bashed in, though I don't know when it would have happened... I thought I'd picked pretty good lines in addition to my stiffer HyperPro springs. I supposed I'll go ahead and install the SRC plate... it weighs 4lbs 10oz with hardware so not too heavy.
I don't use FB but will favorite this for refence. This was a lot of work, thanks for digging into the data.
No problem, glad you found it helpful 🫡

@@advinjapan noted bro. Thx for the advice! Hello from Indonesia! 😊🙏

Totally agree. I really overlooked this mod at first, but thinking about it, one small sensor behind the kickstand could really ruin your day 🤣.
i run pro version of Fuelx ....Fuelx pro (Map 7 and higher) + BMC Air Filter + Resonater Delete the bike just pulls cleanly, no low end issue
Nice! I’m so close to doing that resonator delete.

Thanks for the info. It looks like they sell the gaskets in AliExpress as well.
Sweet I made it into the video! Interesting data collected. Maybe anonymize and make the spreadsheet a shared google doc?
There’s an idea. Although I really doubt it’ll change much from where it’s at now.

Maybe I'll offset the skid plate weight with the Shift-Tech resonator delete that I haven't installed yet either. LOL
Do you make these same videos twice with one being in Japanese too?
The beauty of captions means I don’t have to. 🤣

add KTM Adventure 250/390 Headlight Reinforcement Neck Brace by motourenn
Yes, but not as vital as some of these more important (effectual) upgrades.
