Thank you, B&H for bringing us the best. Bob Davis is one of my very favorite photographers.........his knowledge, his style, and his proven success made the 2 hours just fly by!
Bob is so informative, confident and right to the point. I love it. I also appreciated that he left off seamlessly from his last B&H training, yet referred to it for beginners. Great event!
Thank you very much Bob and B and H for doing these tutorials . You impact a lot of lives and help people to improve themselves in photography. God bless you
one of the best educators on flash photography
so much valuable information in this one. Worth every second spent.
Excellent, Bob! Lots of great information, presented in an easy-to-understand way. And very nice results, as in your previous B&H presentation. Thanks to B&H for hosting this, too.
great thing here.. Thanks B&H and Bob Davis!
What a great video. 100% educational and engaging.
Bob, this is a fantastic video! Thanks to you and B&H for producing this.
I also visited your website (after watching this video) and browsed through some of the wedding albums and they are PHENOMENAL. First class all the way, and inspiring.
One thing that this video shows for sure, though, is that TTL (any camera brand) and relentless chimping go together like peanut butter and jelly. But the proof is in the pudding, and your wedding photography is truly amazing. Thank you for the inspiration!
Excellent. Thank you very much B&H and Mr. Davis. Very interesting, very educational
Thankyou Bob for the great class. I would like to follow you for sure. I am a girl who love to create her own light. So I love to work with speedlights as well. This class is great and one that I will reference in the future. thanks.
Very nice video! Very informative and well presented! Thanks Bob! And thanks B&H!
I saw as soon as Tatiana walked into the scene that her face was extremely shiny. If she wants to be a model, why didn't she use some powder??? Someone in the crowd thought her shot was over-exposed. No, it was just that her face was too shiny. Thanks, Bob Davis, for a great class. I learned quite a few good things.
Awesome workshop. Learned so much. I'm sold on the Wescott Halo umbrellas too.
That was an excellent workshop. Learnt a lot. Thankyou very much.
I've learned a lot watching this video! Thank you for sharing!
Great video, greetings from Soth Africa
Great Video!!
Great job Bob 🙌🥇🥇🥇
Great photographer! Good explanation
Exceptionally informative, many thanks!
great tutor, really enjoyable to watch! Thank you!
The bride featured shouldn't be so self conscious about her nose, she is beautiful. Great presentation, I learnt a lot, thank you very much.
Thanks for watching!
1:58:40 SHABAAANG!!! Loved that capture.
On Hillary Clinton "She wasn't very nice.....She must have been having a crabby day" LMFAO!!!! Bob you rock man.
This is great !!
Great tutorial! Thanks for putting this content out for all to see. What brand/model background is Bob using behind the model at the end of the video? Thanks!
Major issue with his teaching I and many others early on where taught this , lucky I and others where corrected. Here is the problem : he puts one light on right & then other on left, and points them inwards. This cause cross over shadows which look fake and weird. The correct way is to realize light in the real world comes only from one direction - the Sun & we only have one. When augmenting with artificial light we most do the same, also in every situation there is always at least one light in the room or outdoors that acts as the main light; otherwise it would be totally dark. Take that one main light and it's direction and now build upon it so it looks real and natural.
Great!
How do you turn off the groups on the remote control completely? I can use the compensation but cannot turn them off.
For this question, I would suggest sending us an email letting us know what flashes you are using and which remote trigger. *Christina* AskRUclips@bhphoto.com
+B and H I have exactly the same equipment as in the video, that is why I asked here.
what stands do you use for the lights?
There is such thing as too many lights specially when coming from different sides... How can you call thaw natural? At least not on this planet
Are there any more Optic 2016 videos coming?
That's it for this year's event. But tune in around the same time next year for Optic
2017. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe for other great
content!
Is that uncle Phil from the fresh Prince of Bel air at 1:05:21
This guy is a great instructor, but (like many of these speakers) his style is really lacking, and his work is not appealing to me at all.
we need to see him moving equipment not look for ever at the photo producer needs to earn his money
