Thank you!
Great presentation with plenty of useful tips for any budding bee entrepreneurs.
How to make a small fortune raising honey bees: start with a large fortune!
Finally! I've been waiting half the year for the new videos!
Yes, finally. GOSH wish they were having those shows every quarter
Thank you for video! Best spring greetings from Ukrainian beekeepers to beekeepers in Canada and USA!
Dr Victor,am based in east africa-kenya.am looking at bee keeping at large scale. What could you recommend me for a start
Very clever solution on the feeder with the "porter-section"!
Great presentation! I am going to be adding latches to my hives now. Thanks!
Love the trailer set-up.
brilliantly explained
Love the trailer
Do some more informational bee videos, for 2018-2019. great info, great suit!
very enjoyable and useful talk, thank you.
Impressive engineering. It makes one wonder what his other jobs might have been.
sir how convert in hindi
80 hives in a luton van? hmmm something tells me in europe they don't have normal american amenities like air conditioning? I can imagine the heat dissipation from 80 hives. It would soon be 93 degrees inside. American vehicles all have air conditioning that I drive. I do have a pickup that I open the windows on, but that would be open in the back.
*GoodFunForSure*
What does he mean a super and a section?
Cut honey comb sections
Ha! Fame at last. I ask a question! 😁
Sorry I don't consider 70+ hives a sideline. It's firstly a total material cost of 14k in total spend not including foundation and all the feeds and treatment costs or honey extraction equipment. Also the time each week to look after them even at 5 mins a hive it's 350mins or 6hours a week minimum. Sorry that's not a sideline that's a job on its own. Not to mension rearing treating extracting and all the rest.
Right?
Exactly the thought I had from beginning to the 22 minutes in (where I heard him spell out his business plan is mainly migratory beekeeping). Nice "sideline" indeed.
He did say one day a week was the plan
Here in the USA with a national loss rate of 45+% making a living on beekeeping is very difficult...especially since most areas here no longer are able to support colonies with proper nutrition.
BeeFriendlyApiary we don't have that problem in Missouri. Where are you?
If your loosing 45% every year, you need to get serious with varroa control.
And that's what happens when you're completely incompetent. I suggest raising cats instead.
Maybe Canada does it better? ruclips.net/video/386qWGnt_CU/видео.html
the bee-troll hits again...
£6000 is amazing in 1970 but that's more like £75000 in today's money, accounting for inflation. That makes his projected £15000 less impressive. But i don't expect older people to understand the effects of inflation. They think you can still buy a house for £15000.
Useful presentation, so thanks, also extremely dry and boring zzzz. Thanks though!
