Although we don't know when ice cream was introduced, it has become a part in the daily life of Hanoi's citizen. Ice cream originated from the French word "Creme", brought into Vietnam by the French colonization. However, by the end of 1940, the first Japanese troop entered, followed by merchants who brought ice cream into Hanoi.
