- Church Shooting Thwarted Sunday Man Fires Gun at Pastor Mid Sermon and Gun Jams. This Sunday at Dwelling Place church in North Braddock , PA the Pastor Glenn Germany was preaching his sermon when a gunman approaches him mid sermon points the gun at him at point blank range but the gun jams. Also recently Mari Mar Emmanuel attacked mid sermon as well. Mari Mar Emmanuel was stabbed several times and survived. He did lose an eye in the attack. We also had church shooting lakewood which is Joel Osteen's church. It seems that all of situations could have been much worse expect for God divine protection. Church shootings are happening more frequently so this is a subject that needs to be discussed. The Holy Spirit has placed a burden on my heart for this issue. As a strong warning for the church. As the days ahead get darker in these end times. Church shootings will happen much more frequently. And we need to start preparing ourselves for this with prayer and taking practical safety precautions.

We can't do His part, and He won't do our part. The same guy who likely penned Ps. 91 took out a lion and a bear in protection of the flock before cutting off the head of the giant. As you pointed out, part of our preparation for walking in divine protection is practical and part is spiritual. Really like your comments on self-defense, also! Nice video on a much needed topic.

You don't need a prompting of or leading of the Holy Spirit when really you were just understanding the times so you thought about the protection at church. Not everything is the "Spirit" as you claim but just common sense.
I live in NYC. I've seen crime my whole life. Yes this is all common sense. At the same time I have a heavy burden I feel that God has given me to warn the church these shootings are going to become more common place. Common sense with a burden from the spirit
@@TornCurtainIJoshuaSimone I think most if not all understand that we are and will continue to get more and more attacks both physically and spiritually because of the times we are in. There is violence everywhere right now- some more than others and we know that Satan is going to try his best to not just bring us down physically but also emotionally and spiritually. Yes demons are real and there are those that are filled with them- but it's hilarious to me that you have these so called demon slayers who say our church is filled with Christians who have demons and need to be released from the demons. It's garbage like that, that takes away from the real demons and problems. Deliverance comes when a person's heart is changed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when saved. The Word says that once that happens we are not to fear demons but resist them draw near to God and they will flee. Deliverance should only be done on non believers not true saved Holy Spirit filled Christians.
This is a talking point in my family with people on each side of the views: using common sense vs. seeking wisdom from God. In John 15, Jesus said, "Apart from me, you can do nothing."
@@yvonnerobert-carr8809 I also have seen this from both sides. Yes, ultimately we can't do anything aside from Him, especially if you believe that God is sovereign. But there are things that are just plain and simple and should not be spiritualized. Some say that everything they think or feel is a leading from the Holy Spirit, or a prompting and really it's not.
@@BryanCurtisSaved consider this. I know Christians who believe that God does not speak to us at all yet will say, "Something told me that... or... I had a hunch that..." Will give credit even to the abstract before they'll give credit to the One who gives to us knowledge, wisdom, insight, and even a mysterious revelation that's often labeled as a "hunch" or what "something told me." The truth is that, from the simplest to the most complex of occurrences, God's grace actually is available with all of His believers especially and His hand is always involved with those who seek Him in everything. It can be labeled as spiritual or simply as life. But He is thankfully very involved either with a light hand or a heavy hand.
God isn't asking us to move our bodies in certain positions, nor to chant, contemplate or swoon. That is simply the lusts of the flesh desiring good feelings to satisfy self.
It's mysticism.
It is actually serving seducing spirits
And doctrines of devils.
Following fallen angels to destruction.
He commands us to obey Him and read our Bibles with the determination to learn and obey His Word.

I am a sinner saved by grace. I can't believe how many times God has been there for me and saved me.
Watching over me throughout my whole life. I didn't know. He is there for us even when we do not know it. Every minute of every day He is watching us and nothing will happen to us without His permission. Everything happens for our good. Even testing and trials or discipline.
I haven't deserved the mercy that has been showered on me.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
This present suffering cannot be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.
So I'm glad that the Bishop wasn't killed but probably not for the reason you expect. He is not saved. He believes that we must bow down and worship Mary and that we don't have a direct connection with our Father through His Son Jesus. Again- he is NOT SAVED. Please stop lifting up the unsaved person as someone we should be listening to as he does not have a right relationship with God. I think that is one of your particular issues is that you have so over spiritualized everything to even include lifting up this unsaved person. You should be praying for his salvation not saying he was preaching so powerfully!! You are definitely incorrect in your words and assessment of his situation. You need to repent for this one.
I disagree with you on this one. I do not recommend any one pray to Mary. At the same time I know many spirit filled catholics who are sincere believers. If we discounted everyone with bad Theology in one area. Then no one would be saved. No one has perfect Theology

I don't believe you can be a catholic who follows their teachings and call yourself a born again believer. This is one of the issues I have with you and your acceptance of things that are non Biblical and against the Bible. Tell me how a person who claims to have a true understanding of the work of God's Son and His purpose and sacrifice believes it's ok to pray to a "Saint" or to Mary?? It's impossible!!
