Yes Mitch is perfect and that is definitely him without auto tune. Also, you liked the piano. That’s all Scott. They usually arrange their parts together and Scott comes up with the piano background. He’s a really good player. Mitch also plays but Scott does the piano for superfruit medleys. And yes Mitch captivates me too. I watched them all on the sing off in 2011 and then about 5 years later I found superfruit and Mitch’s personality and of course voice pulled me in and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Scott and the others are all great but Mitch is definitely my favorite.
This is one of my favorite Superfruit medley/evolution videos. The other is Empire Medley. There's an old podcast called Forks on the Left that was recorded in the same studio (Endless Noise) where Superfruit recorded all of these. They have an episode with Scott and Mitch as guests from May, 2017 when this evolution was recorded. It's interesting to hear them talk briefly about this recording. Then the podcast has another episode following that one where they talk to 2 of the people who own/run that studio about their history with Superfruit and PTX. MaryCatherine Finney and Grant Cornish are still involved in a lot of what Scott and PTX do to this day. I think you'd enjoy listening to these 2 episodes! (The 2nd one has a long discussion in the first half about various whiskeys, the Superfruit/PTX conversation is primarily in the 2nd half of the podcast.)

FYI: They did a GAGA "concert" while in high school. Also check out SCOTT, with Mario Jose. They did a duet to a.madley that Scott produced to LOST ON YOU by LP & Zimmerman's INCEPTION. It will blow you away. Mitch, as his alter-ego MESSER, has done a cover to Billie Eillish's POWER. That will also blow you away. Finally, on SCOTT'S latest single, MAD ABOUT YOU, he released several alternative versions. One is the CINEMATIC version. I think that you would love it. Also, this song is a collaboration between Scott & Tony(??) Gad. Thanks for the amazing review. It's already PENTATONIX season! Otherwise known as Christmas. 💚💚💚
Small correction. Mitch didn't do the Billie cover as Messer he just did it as himself. That's why it originally went up on his Mitch Grassi youtube channel that also had Graveyard on it. That's why when he changed the channel name to messer, he removed Your Power and Graveyard. It's still on his personal Instagram and not messer's.

I know, I know, Scott is beyond amazing in every way, and I adore him! He's got incredibly flexible and masterful vocals...but I can't take my eyes or ears off Mitch when he sings - just can't. As mentioned below, you definitely want to check out every song on the Future Friends EP, (which they very kindly did a video for every one of - 2 for one of them), and Empire Medley, the Happy Little Pill cover, and the Rihanna Anti Medley are my, favorites along with this one, of the sitting-there-singing-with-just-Scott's-recorded-piano series, lol. The Beyonce medley is excellent, too. Honestly they never disappoint, picking favorites is just picking favorites among favorites, lol. Superfruit was one hell of an era.
You’ve gotta check out Gaga’s recent live performance of Happy Mistake on one of the late night shows, maybe Kimmel. Her voice has never sounded better. And her new single and video, ‘Disease’ are absolutely the best dark pop banger I’ve heard in ages Also - Superfruit’s Empire medley is the best imo, the Beyonce medley is also amazing
