I have a blue bowl, and I am not impressed with it. Also, as long as I have been prospecting, about 45+ years ago, I never could understand why people use old coins for size reference. A US 2024 Quarter is no different than a US 1924 Liberty Quarter. Can someone please explain this to me?

I use a dime. It gives a visual scale that many fine helpful in understanding how much gold is actually in the pan.
