    The inlay pattern is a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the video!

    did you play the B-string?

    • @BassMusicianMagazine
      @BassMusicianMagazine  5 лет назад

      Sure, but not amplified. I did have a sample with more B string through the amp but I liked the ones I included better. All the strings sound great. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

    Seriously considering the Dragonfly. I have a Patriot LP style 6 string and absolutely love it! Subtle little design ideas about the MK line make it all the more reason to have one. If you play one, you get it.You just helped me make an informed choice. Thank you Sir!

    Well, I think one of the main reasons somebody considers 5 string bass is the B string, so that's a little note for future. I swear, nobody plays it in any video ever.... You would have been a saviour and a miracle. Although I must say thanks for at least not playing solos but sticking to the lower register! That's also hard to find.

      You might be able to Jim but, you might need a pre-amp to get the volume you want. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

    I played a 4-string version of one of these yesterday the action was extremely high and very uncomfortable to play and the E string sounded crappy it was very muddy

      Sounds like something they can correct with a proper set-up or could be just that particular instrument. Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.

      You need a feedback buster, they are cheap and absolutely necessary for acoustic bass.

      Since they want to be unhelpful to their viewers, I'll answer. At about :50 he says 22 frets. I know you asked 7 months ago, and probably found the answer by now, but that's just poor on their part.

    I set mine up with nylon wound strings. They give it a more upright sound that sound really nice in combination with acoustic guitars. The instrument is really very smooth to play and is a real looker. For me the nicest acoustic bass I have owned so far. Mine come with a different electronics. Fishmann MKAB (Michael Kelly Acoustic Bass) Specially designed for this bass. See me playing it here (not too good sound as recorded on iphone) ruclips.net/video/D4uqB0sZmEU/видео.html
