Well to be fair when he got second he got hit with rivalry game 1 and anti spell game 2 backed up with 2-3 interruptions So floodgate + 2 disruption I mean should be enough against a lot of decks
Dark World wins both game 1 and 3 very easily if there weren't non-engine floodgates hard carrying swoso. Game 3 replace AntiSpell with like Ash and the game isn't even close since they just play through a single blackout no problem.
@@amethonys2798 Idk about DW winning game 1. Lithiums plays were very suboptimal. He could have made 3 synchros with that hand. SS adhara first then normal moye revealing long, SS Chixao then search draw and search blackout. After that you search adhara with emergence, discard with long to ss itself and token, adhara gy eff to summon vishuda then SS sinister. After that SS Berserker with vish and ashuna then and you get another draw with that. A set blackout with 3 synchros and follow up (the eclessia and potential HT/follow up from the extra draw) is pretty hard to beat even without the rivalry set. There are few cases to ever make chengying going first and with eclessia in hand this definitely wasn't one of them
@@pOp-jc4jv the reason why they're performing so well is because there are no custom side decks, so as a deck that plays very few non engine pieces, they directly benefit from decks that focus on non engine not having the correct cards for the matchup On the other hand ada, and decks that play little non engine in general, don't care about this so the cbc advantage is massive here
@@buddbrown4910anti spell and rivalry are limited, mine, baronne and halqdon are banned, protos is back but not enough against snake eye with all these hits Swoso is still good against decks that aren't called snake eye though, so is it powercreep or does having 5 cards hit on the banlist have something to do with it?
Dark World looked dangerous despite the loss. Swordsoul had to open perfectly and go first to take the clean 3-1. I guess that's the advantage of being able to play a lot of powerful handtraps and a consistent engine. Swordsoul is THE 2 handtraps plus engine deck. Next matchup, we have Spellbook v Clownblade. Spellbok has looked anything but impressive in the past few CBCs, but Clownblade might be the right matchup for it...if Books go first.
Unfortunate that Broww is a level 3, if it were a level 4 then the Dark World player could just normal summon it to safely make Azathot. It'd at least go to game 5 that way.
3-1 swordsoul, I think they have enough hts to win this. I might be underestimating this dw list but I don't think they stand much of a chance going 2nd either
Pre-recorded video! ^_^
VOTES: Dark World (48%) vs. Swordsouls (52%)
Woah, the FTK deck only wins if it goes first? Crazy!!!

The ftk lost going first.
@@llamaryder1 with a not amazing hand against gamma + nib + swoswo starter

Basically drawing custom hands game 3 and 4.
I swear Swordsoul feels unbeatable in the CBC specifically
Floodgates are strong, especially searchable ones like protos
Has no real bad matchup, a lot of handtraps, versitility with the tenyi cards and strong boards going first
It also helps some decks just don't have the side or maindeck cards to combat it due to the format they were in
same with Adamancipator for a while

Wild this swordsoul is basically legal now, just without barone, which is big, but the protos stuff is all still there
the last two years of powercreep have been intense, swordsoul can't keep up with modern stuff

Will you do a six samurai testing video, Lithium?
I'm waiting too bro.👀

Ya quedó atrás esa baraja, pero si vuelve a renacer este año sería genial ver cómo se adapta al nuevo meta.
Fantastic
I saw 2018 and got warflashbacks. Well He didn't Play any handtraps 😅
Alright, next year, I don’t wanna see any Adamancipator, and I don’t wanna see any Swordsoul
I'm not a fan on quite a few of the DW ftk plays, but admittedly they also just had some bad luck.
Hard to play when the opponent opens unsearchable floodgates every time they go first. Unlucky tbh.

Dam that was a really interesting match, floodgate ftk floodgate (these are the things that make me rethink playing yugioh)

Yoo what's up guys
Haven’t seen the video but it’s only 6:15 mins long…
Ggwp Swordsoul haha
Darkworld just drew ass like lets be honest...
If you mean not drawing twin twisters game 3 and getting one of the rare hands that loses to nibiru game 4 then sure.
That Dark Copium be hitting hard
The Deck WHO Starts win .... Ygo 2024
En el duelo 3 y 4 el jugador darkword comete missplay horribles, que ni los principiantes hacen, empiezo a creer que están arreglados
Bottom Half is just not as fun to watch
