I understand this series is meant to be introductory, but it would be awesome if you could provide a citation (perhaps at the bottom?) for each of the objections that the student raises. It would seem awkward and contrived if you said "J. L. Mackie objects that.... Bernard Williams questions...." but citations would be awesome when trying to explore the more serious objections further.
Glad you liked this video. We have a number of videos on our channel that deal with a lot of different philosophers and subjects. If there is a specific topic you would like to see do let us know :)
@@PhilosophyVibe Plato and Aristotle: Ideas; Substance; Form and Matter; Causation; Actuality and Potentiality. If you cover this topic, it'll helpful for me :)
I feel so sad that google dictionary is not extremely accurate. In my language, if you search for any word in the language dictionary, it will explain EVERYTHING about that word. It even gives examples
Get out of here with that postmodernist garbage. There is objective Truth. You typed your comment and I responded to it. Is that not true? Would it not be false to deny it?
You're absolutely lost if you think the back and forth is a bad thing. It helps flesh out ideas and brings up valid critiques of the ideas so you can actually understand them instead of just memorizing it buddy
The script to this video is part of the Philosophy Vibe "Descartes Meditations" eBook, available on Amazon:

Thank you for laying it all out in simpler terms. I was struggling with Descartes a bit and this really helpped!

The guy with the purple jacket will never be convinced 🤣....”mmmhh🤔”

Does anyone know where I can find a summary on Descartes Meditations IV specifically?

There is no True or False. All is being. Error is a human judgement, which is a process of change

2+2=4; I exist therefore is true.

Is it true that there is no true or false?
Get rid of the student dialogue
i actually enjoy it, allows for the opposite side to show some points
Heavy smokers lungs ?
Descartes meditations are far from perfect. The student dialogue is actually rather helpful in pointing out various weaknesses in them.
