While watching this video, my ears felt blessed. He is a treasure in this industry, I hope people will realize this soon. I really don't want his abilities to go to waste, I really hope that won't happen.
I do have some little technical knowledge and would like to add my opinions on why he stands out from other kpop singers. He has very good vocal control 3:32 especially with his note (phrase) endings (holding notes all the way to end 4:27 ) which many do not do (breathing harder than u think 🥲). He is very good at adding little details and emotions into seemingly normal phrases 5:20 , and that's a fact anyone can here after just the first line on any song 18:35 . Literally I have to repeat the beginning of "it's live baby tonight" so many times, he has this deep understanding of these songs and puts his soul into them that you can feel what he's singing about without knowing the lyrics. His Falsetto (type of higher note) is stable and clear and he usually can perform those well live. A technical skill he does quite well that you learn is he know which vowel and sounds to change to sing them better 15:20 (more open), which I find strange barely any idols do despite having vocal training. (Mainly becuase I'm more on the opera singing side). But as you may tell in some clips, he doesn't do this as well when he does higher long belts,3:0613:2014:39) To demonstrate here 14:50 u can here how once he opens is mouth more of AAA 14:55 it has a fuller broughter sound causing it to sound strained at the end. (Junhee and donghun has similar issues, but I think hun is slightly better). The only thing I'd like to see more are more runs (19:10 many notes in one breath) and also larger belts (loud long notes). I feel like he still hasent his full potential yet and with more confidence he could sing more technically challenging songs well. (E.g. like any ofe Jonghyuns songs) Another little note is his vibrato 4:00 (wavy voice technique) is very consistent and starts quickly 👌. When he sings more intense songs his growls 20:3520:40 arfgfhdhdgshdh need more. 😭 Apologies if some of these time stamps are lacking/ wrong it's because halfway they all got deleted 🤡. Plz make another video ❤️❤️ becuase he has so many other good clips, would Iove one with all the his first lines.
Omg you made my day with this!!!!! I love discussing his vocals even if I may not know all te technical terms lol and yes one of my most fav things about his vocals is how he takes the notes to absolute completion and emotions as well. In many videos you can see his old his singing expression a few secs after he as finished singing and another member had already started. He doesn't snap in and out of notes abruptly. And he has such a good sense of musicality, apparent in his free style dancing as well, that all the runs and adlibs just sound so sophisticated (no shade to other main vocals but sometimes they just be shouting all throughout the song when its the last thing the song needs). His breath control is AMAZING, esp after seeing the moonlight clip I am so unbelievably impressed by him. His falsettos and tone are his money makers when it comes to vocals. These days (before enlisting) he had been working really hard on donghun and jun type of high notes but I honestly prefer it when he is in his comfortable range and singing softer or even lower notes. But his improvement has really been a wonder and knowing yuchan I am sure he will continuously improve all throughout his career. Ive been into KPOP since 2015 and the few idols that I can say have a honey like flawless vocal are Kang Yuchan and Jungkook. They have similar singing technique and after learning they were taught by the same legendary vocal teacher it explains a lot. 😍💜💜
@@kajal1705 yes her name is Kim Sungeun . She was the vocal coach for all of A.C.E members, Jungkook, Jin, V and even a few TWICE members. She was the reason A.C.E were able to meet each other, she found them in diff companies & knew their potential & basically told them she knew other top trainees with great talent & that they can form a group to debut together…. and that’s how A.C.E formed
@@kajal1705 yes it’s all sort of connected plus the fandom was more shocked to know Sehyoon, the main rapper in A.C.E, trained along with Jhope from BTS 🥹💜 They attended the same dance academy & Jhope still keeps in touch with him 🤧

Also, I got to know that the drummer from Suga's recent concert had also worked on a.c.e's Undercover. The coincidences are coinciding a lot lol 😭😂
