Zonaradikos at Bara, Pentalofos

Laura Shannon brought a group of dancers of many nationalities to the Evros region of northeastern Greece in 2011 to experience the traditional music, dance and culture of Thrace. We had a feast one night on the hilltop of Bara near the village of Pentalofos and danced with all of our friends from the village and musicians including Panayiotis Zikidis, Alexios Partinoudis and many others. Many thanks to Loulouda Zikida, Yianni Zikidis and all of our other friends there for your extraordinary hospitality, ecstatic music and dance, and all the unforgettable times we have had with you.
