Technology had progressed just enough that it was starting to sound very musical and they were finding ways to get a lot of feeling out of it. But that production cost a pretty penny at the time, paid for by the expensive records, CDs and cassettes - I remember how much those cost. Now, the business is completely different.

So true, Celine used her vocals do the talking instead of body to sell the song. She did have a powerful vocals, that I can hold the long notes in the big ballads (it took so long to practice it but I have got it.)
The first time I heard this song was when I was little kid and just had finished watching Beauty And The Beast. Didn't know anything about Céline Dion at that time, but I remember how I wished the song would never end. In a way it never did. I discovered her few years later and she's been in my life ever since.
I was 7 when Disney's Beauty and the Beast came into VHS and we had just immigrated to the U.S. Very nostalgic for me and my family. ❤
