Trust in Trance is a VA compilation series by Astral Projection. The first edition was released in 1993 and was compiled out of tracks Astral made with other artists. The 2nd one was released in 1994, and it featured the band`s first huge hit, “Mahadeva”. For the 3rd edition Astral teamed up with Raja Ram & Rich Bloor new label TIP Records, and it was the first that carried the band's name and was released as Astral Projection.
The album features some unforgettable tracks like People Can Fly and Kabalah with DJ Jorg o Shiva Space Technology. The album also features tracks by SFX, the first alias Astral used when they just started producing music together in the late 80`s.

Astral Projection (Avi Nissim & Lior Perlmutter) are an Israeli electronic music group producing Goa / PsyTrance music. They are considered as one of the originators of the genre & one of the biggest acts on the scene.
In addition to an extensive discography (mostly with their own label Trust In Trance but also Transient, Nova Tekk, Avex, TIP World, Smart Records, Perfecto & more). the group has an extensive worldwide touring schedule. They Have had global support from big names such as Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, John 00Fleming, Faithless & more. They have produced 11 albums, most recently "Goa Classics Remixed",2014 (TIP World).They have created such hits as Liquid Sun, Mahadeva, Axis, People Can Fly, Kabalah & Dancing Galaxy.
Astral Projection are the maestros of layeristic Trance & considered to be one of the most important goa-psy trance projects of the 90s worldwide.

Still mind blowing in 2022 ! The album this is from, Trust in Trance Vol 3 , is not only a break through of the PsyTrance/Goa genre but also a benchmark.
Awesome, amazing ideas & sounds (thanks to the best synths AND care & devotion to the programming of them!) and coupled with skilful production.
Check out the whole album - there’s such a polish to it, and strength of sound, that is a wonderful celebration of digital mayhem but beautifully analogue at the same time. VERY hard to reproduce on just digital VST’s of today. There is something sublime about what Vol 3 achieves.
Sounds amazing on a top notch system to really hear the sounds at their best, but still good even on your phone, thats how spot on the mixes are.
Astonishing achievement
For me it's a genre-defining track. It blew me away when I was really into goa. Never heard anything like it, was expecting to be disappointed when I found it again after so many years, but holy shit - I'm thrashing around my house right now, it's so polished even by todays standards, so dimensional. It's blowing me away for all the same reasons right now.
