Farming Simulator UK he has lifted them to lock tanker in then he let them down to stop them getting caught on the shaft when turning

If this stuff is so toxic that one breath of it can kill you, can someone explain how the man in the video is able to walk right up to it without any sort of breathing apparatus? Genuinely curious here. Thanks.

In Michigan we push manure out the barn into concrete pits .throw down some saw dust in the barn and repeat the next morning. Does Irish law ban this practice?

Hoppe’s 9 I think outdoor pits are sort of a thing here. Also a very messy mess. Some have proper tanks outdoors. But this underground tank is very handy and neat. I build these slatted tanks. I think there a good job

The average rainfall in Ireland is four feet. That means an eight foot deep openair tank will be half full of water, which will increase the cost of handling. You need a roof over your slurrystore, so you may as well go the whole way and put cattle and slurry under the one roof

Gerard McDonnell no farm is safe just cause you have a sheep doesn’t mean it’s much safer there is still gas in the slurry

My question is I why are small children on a farm unsupervised? It’s common sense.

    Why not wear masks?

    • @csh4825

      You can't depend on them

A face mask would be pointless. You'd need a full breathing apparatus and oxygen tank. Who's going to volunteer to work like that all day ?

Slurry so dangerous why fellow in video not wearing mask

The safest way to deal with slurry is to ban the practice. After watching this video I will never drink cow milk again, I have already switched to goats milk. You farmers are so heavily brainwashed and financially committed by agricultural policy that you don't see the damage you are doing to the environment and the welfare of your stock. It is truly shocking, it is a vicious cycle of increasing profit by expansion of land and stock , where does it end ????

Al Jenkins ye good man urself ban it all together so the tanks will overflow get into draining systems there will be smell of shit everywhere. Get into public water schemes and everyone will end ip drinking shit

Air travel is a bigger risk to the environment than a cows fart, go and lodge a complaint to Michael o Leary I'm sure he will quick to ground them all!!
