It's not. Eventuri made a video and said there was slightly differences in the engine placement in the 8Y and the 8V kit would cause some rubbing at various points. It may well be the same kit - but something will be different somewhere, whether it's a bracket or something else. It took them a few months to release it. It's the same price as the 8V so it makes no difference really.
Looks nice, but doesn't really do anything to improve the performance. If you have a couple of grand burning a hole in your pocket, why not. Else, waste of money and only you know it's there. Better to spend the money on a set of Michelin PS4 tyres - they WILL improve the performance of your RS3.
Interested to know what your oil temps were after installation
why do I have a feeling it the same kit as the 8V lol.

Is any tuning required for this intake? Coming from Subaru where you have to tune for everything
Nothing at all mate
That's awesome !
Yes bruv! Been following and seen the instagram post so I’ve shot over! Nice video.
No Eventuri turbo elbow?
Not on this one, maybe next time!
What exhaust did you say you put on this? Just got mine and dam OPF filter killing all the noise?
Google infinit perfomance they will fix your opf issue
Doesn’t it lose hp if you don’t tune it?
You don’t lose but you don’t gain
Don't intakes do nothing unless you're pushing the car up to 600+ hp? Same with the M3s
The power boost mainly comes from the downpipe though, which reduces backprssure and increases boost. Intake is lesser effect
Stock exhaust??
