This was by far the easiest to understand Java tutorial for beginners that I have seen. Especially intro into OOP. I have read and watched videos from other sources and ironically, this is comparatively the shortest, yet most comprehensive and easiest to follow, and most importantly, I was able to finally grasp the Java language to a degree that I am comfortable with.
    Thanks Mike

I just finished this Java tutorial (all of it), and like the Python tutorial I finished a couple of months ago, this tutorial made things so easy for me. And once again, I stand here speechless, not knowing how to thank you for the tremendous effort you've put into this tutorial. If anybody reading this comment hasn't yet finished the tutorial or even hasn't yet started it, I greatly recommend you watch it from beginning till end especially if you are a beginner.

Super series for coding, my man. I first saw you on freeCodeCamp when I did your course on C++. I went to look for python there and loo-and-behold, who was my tutor? Mike, that's who. Well, I wanted to learn Java, but they didn't have you there.
At one point, I started thing that you were the face of FreeCodeCamp. I came to your site and from there I got to know about your entire arsenal.
Seriously Kuddos to you for all the hours you poured in, not only in teaching but video editing and all that we moochers can't see.
I really hope keep doing what you do. If you could, ( now I know I am being greedy) do videos on projects like making a snake game, AI, ML and Algorithms, I swear I'll be first in line. Since I know what an awesome teacher you are, even if you move over to Udemy or an other paid site, I will there before you can say 'Mike".
    Peace.

Hi Mike, I just finished the course on youtube.
and I'm very grateful to you for making such tutorials (I also watch the SQL one)
and apparently, your way of teaching is just awesome, you can tell from the comment section of course.
just one thing would be greater if you can make tutorials of advanced programming in these languages. I will definitely join you even if it's on one of the online paid websites like Udemy.
I already recommended your courses to several friends and they like it.
    Thanks again!

Thank you Mike for your extremely good work in this Tutorial. You've brought light in the mess I had in my mind while trying to catch how Java works. Now all makes sense. Definitely, you're the best in transmitting information... so clear, precise and well structured. I have to study SQL, too. I'm eager to start with your SQL tutorial :-)
I've seen that the tutorials are from 2017. It's a pity that it seems that you didn't carry on with this project. Wish you all the best in your news projects, whatever you're doing ;)

Cool. You might want to have mentioned in this video about the not-quite-required but strong tradition of trying to come up with package names that are unique using naming conventions like edu.giraffe.datastructures etc. Maybe less important now with Java 9 and Modules, but still important for most existing Java projects out there thru history.
