Pastor K kept it to the truth pointing it back to Christ, truth is there is no success in life in general outside Christ...There may have been false pastors, false believers even who mislead many andr ect but truth still remain that, Jesus is the answer for the world today. Life by itself is too much a mystery to figure it out all by ourselves, let alone Marriage.

Its not that complicated. Without the Word, Prayer and the Holy Spirit, man will always fall short. Discussing marriage without discussing love(agape), forgiveness, humility and the fruits of the Spirit is a huge miss. Toke like many today is seeing things mostly in the light of the outer court. And until we learn the true basis of Christianity, marriage will not be what it is intended to be.

However I want to submit that the Bible is sufficient and anyone to whom God entrusts his flock ought to be equipped to shepherd them in all regard using the all inspired word and Spirit of God (2 Tim 3:16-17). 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Pastors not been good marriage counselors! You see, as a doctor, you may have a disease, if you refuse to treat yourself, it remains. If a patient comes to you and you treat the patient, he/she will get well. If I'm sure you have the cure, I will come for it . Because there is a difference between knowing the word and doing it. A pastor may know the truth and not apply it. It doesn't mean the truth doesn't work. If you aren't sure a pastor's marriage you come for counseling to is working fine, although it may be discouraging to do, but you know he's got what it takes to help you get well...see the specialist and go.
